In 1997 I started my training in woodcarving and silk screen printing, having Luis Castillo Rechy as my tutor at the arts and crafts workshops at Patio Muñoz in Xalapa, Veracruz, where I was born.Months later maestro Lino Mora Rivera also shared his knowledge in traditional masks carving with me.
From 1998 and on I kept working with silk screen printing full time. In 2013 I returned to working with woodcarving, creating on my own..

In 2014 I went to live in San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas. Here some shops and galleries became interested in my work.
In 2016 a modest working place begins to form along with its co-workers' team.
Nowadays we work here under the name of El Corazón in a growing process to keep functioning as a wood studio-workshop.
